Monument
valley, worldwide famous since it appeared in so many wonderful John Ford
movies like “Stagecoach” or “The searchers”, is a region of the Colorado
plateau characterized by a cluster of vast red sandstone buttes, reaching up
until 300 m height. The park is located on the Arizona/Utah state line within
the range of the Navajo Nation Reserve. Photo from 1995.
