Tulum, Yucatan. MEXICO

One of the most visited Mayan sites; Tulum was an important port during the 12th century, the Mayan postclassical period. The site is located on the Caribbean Sea coast, and is surrounded by wonderful beaches, where the pelicans glide in the very morning. Some photos took in 1996, but most of them during my second visit to the place in 2000.
