A marvelous
old ksar (fortified city) along the caravan route from the Sahara and
Marrakech. It was already beautiful to see it at sunset but my highlight of
Morocco was, undoubtedly, waking up at 6.00 to stroll through the old streets and
Kasbahs with a fantastic early morning light, completely alone. The place is
and has been used in many films like The Sheltering Sky or Gladiator and TV
