The
Giant’s Causeway is a UNESCO World heritage site, located on the North Coast of
Northern Ireland, in Country Antrim. It’s an area with thousands of basalt
columns, mostly with hexagonal shape, but there’s also some with four, five,
seven or eight sides. This weird landscape, result of ancient volcanic activity,
has become the most visited touristic site in Northern Ireland. Photos from
Summer 2012.
