Lima. PERU

Lima is not universally acclaimed by its beauty, especially with the permanent climate that keeps the sun hidden under thick grey layers of fog, but its colonial center is definitely worth a visit, and the popular ambiance around makes it delightful to stroll for a while. Ancient Rome. ITALY

The eternal city has an incredible array of well preserved roman buildings, witness of its former glory: The colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Arch of Constantine, the Pantheon, the circus maximus and so on… Photos from Spring 2006.

Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island). CAMBODIA

This small island has a paradisiacal beach that is easy reachable by boat from Kep (South western Cambodia) in less than half hour. The very basic bungalows that are scattered on the beach add to the nonchalant charm of the place. April 2012.

Izamal Monastery. MEXICO

Already a Mayan city 8 centuries before Christ, Izamal is actually known as the « yellow  city » because of the color of its walls, especially inside and around  the monastery of San Antonio de Padua, with its gigantic atrium built in the 16th century. Photo from 1996.

Mammals from the Kalahari, SOUTHAFRICA

3 red hartebeest with a wildebeest, the gorgeous cheetah, an oryx (Gemsbok), some springboks, a kudu, a giraffe and a squirrel. Some of the mammals we saw in our safari through the Kgalagadi transfontier park in the Kalahari, during the summer of 2011.

Luderitz. NAMIBIA
