Alcazar of Sevilla. ANDALUSIA

The Alcazar was built as a Moorish fortress on the Xth century and was completed by  the Almohaves along the following centuries. It’s a royal palace since the Spanish reconquista in the XIIIth century, and many buildings, structures and decorations were added afterwards, turning it into one of the most dazzling architectural pieces of Mudejar style. It’s the oldest Royal Palace still in use in Europe. Photos from spring 2013
