Lima is not universally acclaimed by its beauty, especially with the permanent climate that keeps the sun hidden under thick grey layers of fog, but its colonial center is definitely worth a visit, and the popular ambiance around makes it delightful to stroll for a while. This small island has a paradisiacal beach that is easy reachable by boat from Kep (South western Cambodia) in less than half hour. The very basic bungalows that are scattered on the beach add to the nonchalant charm of the place. April 2012.
